NCSD After-School Programs

21st CCLC programs operate on a five year grant cycle through the Oregon Department of Education and are a reflection of the programming that has been in operation since 2018. These programs ended at the close of the 2023 school year, with some additional summer programs.  NCSD has submitted a new application for the upcoming grant cycle that will fund afterschool academic support and enrichment programs for 2023-2028 at targeted schools. The Oregon Department of Education will announce grant awards at the end of August, 2023. If awarded, information on these new programs will be listed on this webpage. If you would like to be involved in providing input for the new programs, please email Amber Barnes barnesam@nclack.k12.or.us

These after school and summer programs are federally funded through a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, a section of Title-IV of the Every Student Succeeds Act.

NCSD works in partnership with schools and community based organizations to provide academic support and enrichment programming at schools awarded funding through the grant. Programs are open to all students attending these schools and are free of charge.
